The NJR improves interactive presentation of Annual Report data
Last year, the [NJR Reports] website was launched and included what had originally been Parts One, Two, and Four of the paper-based Annual Report. Part Three (Outcomes after joint replacement) remains part of the hard and soft copy publications.
In mid-2015 the clinical activity sections of the website covering hip, knees, ankles, elbows, and shoulders will become fully interactive. The reports enable a user to select certain filters and historic data will also be available. The data will initially include information about procedures up to 31 December 2013 and this will be updated to include data up to 31 December 2014 at the time of the British Orthopaedic Association’s Annual Congress in September 2015.
Further improvements to the interactive elements of the website, including additional reports, are planned for 2016/17. It is essential that website users’ ideas for improving the service are taken into account and an online questionnaire has been provided on the website.
You are encouraged, once you have used the new, interactive reports to give us your thoughts and ideas for future development of the reports.
